A few months back I was in New York, hanging out with my lovely artist friend Stephanie Imbeau (you can check out her awesome work here). Steph makes structures out of everything from porcelain, to cardboard, to umbrellas, and I make projections, so naturally we decided to do a little collaborating. What could be more beautiful that a video projection on a porcelain structure?

So to get the process started Steph sent me some little drawings of structures and I intuitively responded with possible projection ideas. Here’s what we came up with:
